Tuition and fees
Tuition and fee rates for Advanced Dental Education students are established annually by the VCU Board of Visitors each May. For residents enrolling in July 2025, tuition and fees were $32,756 for in-state students and $47,974 for out-of-state students.
Scholarship support is available to help offset tuition costs. In addition, residents receive a stipend and benefits package. The stipend is calibrated in accordance with VCU’s PGY-1 Graduate Medical Education (GME) funding level.
Course registrations, application fee for admission into the AEGD program, and licensure fees may apply depending on departmental budget.
A $75 application fee (non-refundable) is required when applying for admission into the AEGD program.
